What is included in the rental price?

  • Mileage/Kilometres: Depending on your rental agreement, mileage can be either limited or unlimited. Please check your booking details.
  • Local Taxes & Mandatory Fees: Some fees (such as the Valeting Fee, when applicable) are not included in the base price and will be charged if additional cleaning is required on return.
  • Extra Equipment: Any additional equipment (e.g., child seats, GPS devices) requested at the counter will be charged separately.

What should I know about the fuel policy?

  • You will receive the car with a full fuel tank and must return it in the same condition.
  • If you return the car with less fuel than at pick-up, additional refuelling charges plus a non-refundable fuel service fee (EUR 10 to EUR 25, including tax) will be applied.

Can I take the car out of Albania?

  • Cross-border travel is not permitted, especially to countries like Bulgaria and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Unauthorized travel beyond Albania may result in you being charged 100% of the vehicle’s value in case of theft or damage.

What forms of payment are accepted?

  • At Pick-Up: We accept cash, credit, or debit cards. However, a credit card in the main driver’s name is required to secure your booking.
  • Accepted Credit Cards: American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.
  • Note: The main driver’s credit card must have sufficient available funds to cover the rental amount, local fees, extra equipment, and any additional charges.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • 72 Hours Before Pick-Up: No cancellation fee.
  • 48 Hours Before Pick-Up: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
  • Pick-Up Day or No-Show: The full rental amount will be charged, and the booking is non-refundable.

What are the driving license requirements?

  • Local and EU Drivers: A valid driving license is required. All drivers must have held their license for at least 24 months.
  • International Drivers: If your license is not in English, you will need an International Driving Permit along with your home country’s driving license.
  • GCC Nationals: A valid GCC driving license is required for drivers from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.

What forms of identification are required at pick-up?

  • For International Customers: A valid passport, along with your driving license (and International Driving Permit if applicable).
  • For EU Citizens: A national identity card may be used, but you must also present your driving license and either a passport or identity card.
  • Additional Documentation: In some cases, travel documentation (such as proof of arrival and departure) may be required.

Is there an age limit for renting a car?

  • Minimum Age: 23 years old.
  • Maximum Age: 70 years old.
  • Additional age-related charges and restrictions may apply to additional drivers.

What deposit is required?

  • A security deposit of EUR 100 – EUR 500 is required at pick-up.
  • Important: The deposit must be paid in cash and will be refunded after the rental provided that all conditions are met. Note that fluctuations in foreign exchange rates may affect the final refunded amount.

What does the cover/insurance policy include?

  • Please review the cover agreement provided at pick-up carefully.
  • Policies normally exclude items such as windscreens, glass, wheels, tyres, interior elements, personal belongings, towing charges, and any extra equipment (child seats, GPS, etc.).
  • The cover can be invalidated by negligence, refuelling errors, or violations of the rental agreement (for example, driving under the influence).

What happens in the event of an accident or damage?

  • You are responsible for any damage not covered by the insurance policy. This includes paying a Damage Administration fee and an Immobilisation Charge in the event of an accident.
  • In case of an accident, breakdown, or mechanical issues, you must contact the rental company immediately and complete the necessary incident documentation.

Are there any extra charges I should be aware of?

  • Valeting Fee: If the vehicle requires more than standard cleaning on return, a Valeting Fee of EUR 50 per hour (up to a maximum of EUR 60) may apply.
  • Driving Charges: Customers are responsible for any fines, tolls, congestion charges, speeding tickets, or parking fines, along with any administration fees.
  • Lost Keys: Replacement costs will be charged if keys are lost.

Can I add extra equipment to my rental?

  • Yes, extra equipment such as child seats or GPS devices can be added at the counter.
  • Note: If any extra equipment is lost, damaged, or stolen, a replacement fee will be charged.

Is it possible to include additional drivers?

  • Yes, you can include up to one additional driver per contract.
  • All drivers must meet the same identification and license requirements.
